Description : Our prestigious client is looking for a technical IT consultant, for specific database development and programming tasks, limited in time, to pursue the development of a new IT tool. The consultant will work within an IT team composed of 7 people under the responsibility of an IT implementation team leader on the development of an IT tool to characterize data sheets. The project is currently about 1 year on-going. A prototype version of the tool has already been released. The consultant will thus work on the prototype version and develop it further to produce the first production version of the tool. The main purpose of the tool to be developed is to automatically retrieve, from various databases, selected information related to a dossier and process this information to create additional, higher level information about the dossier. The consultant will provide the configuration of the Business Objects software in order to process the data warehouse and produce the required reports. This includes user requirements collection for configuring BO into a user interface tailored to different user groups. The consultant should have at least 3 years of hands-on experience and solid knowledge in Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle 10g or later. If possible knowledge of database reporting Business Objects development (Universes and reports design), Business Objects administration (in particular Central Management Console), Data Warehousing (in particular optimizing, tuning and auditing ETL processes and maintenance in a production environment), Oracle Warehouse Builder, Defining conceptual and physical data models working in an international environment. Good command of English both written and spoken
